The side slip bench is a specialized equipment for measuring the side slip of vehicle steering wheel assemblies and is essential for vehicle safety performance inspection. During vehicle use, deformations and wear in the chassis, axles, and steering mechanisms can alter standard parameters such as the kingpin inclination, caster angle, camber angle, and toe-in. These changes can cause the steering wheels to roll forward while also posing a risk of side-slip accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly test the side slip of the steering wheel assemblies to determine whether it is within acceptable limits.
